Sunsets and sunrises are made for photography. The low, warm light can turn an ordinary photo into an extraordinary image. Part of the appeal is that you never know what you are going to get ahead of time. Will you be blessed with a glorious, yellow-orange-red-pink-purple-blue display that lights up the entire sky, or will it be a quieter, more subdued show? Sometimes clouds interfere and the sun rises or sets with no fireworks at all. No two are the same!
