Climbing Mount Sneffels - September 2011 (28 images)
My trip to Colorado began a little early for peak fall colors, so I decided to try to climb one of the most photogenic mountains in the state - Mount Sneffels, near Ridgway, in the San Juan range. The following photos show what I saw while backpacking from the trailhead, spending the night, and going for the summit the next morning. I arrived back at the trailhead exhausted, dirty, and exhilarated!
